NCHBPA became a member of the Midwest Renewable Energy
Association (MREA)
in 2003 and had two booths at their June “Energy Fair” held in
Custer, Wisconsin. The MREA promotes the utilization of renewable
energy and efficiencies. Their “Energy Fair” has exhibits and education
programs over a three-day period of time. Our products fit well within their
philosophical framework. Members of NCHBPA volunteer their time to staff the
booth and promote the industry – handing out membership directories and
Fact Sheets on our products.
In 2004, NCHPBA not only had a booth at the “Energy Fair” but also sponsored two speakers on pellets and wood technology.
NCHPBA plans to continue with this venture as over 17,000 people attended the event in 2004 from all over the United States and many other countries.
