North Central Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (NCHPBA) is an affiliate of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (formerly Hearth Products Association). NCHPBA was formed in May of 1992 and housed the states of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. In 2000, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Nebraska were added to the territory, now numbering 7 states. In 2002, with the merger of the Barbecue Industry Association into HPA, we became the North Central Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association.

Membership is available to all those that sell products and services through the hearth, casual furniture or barbecue distribution network and to those that manufacturer or distribute any products promoted at the Hearth & Home EXPO trade show.
