Annual Spring Conference (May)
NCHPBA holds an education conference every May in conjunction with the Annual Membership Meeting. The location of this event is in either Wisconsin or Minnesota. The conference includes both technical and business programs. Continuing Education Units for National Fireplace Institute re-certification are offered every year.
The class schedule and CEU credits associated are included in the conference brochure. Registration is done online. Go to the May Conference tab for all the details. For anyone interested in providing sponsorship grants to help defray costs for the annual conference, sponsorship forms are available as well.
Our sponsors are very special to us as their support helps keep the registration fees low. We thank them for their support at the Annual Meeting but also acknowledge them for a full year with ads. Please take the time to review their ads and personally thank them for their support of the NCHPBA Annual Conference.
Candid photos are taken at each conference. Click below to see memories of past annual spring conferences.
HearthCheck is a three hour education program designed to teach hearth individuals how the house operates as a system and how all combustion and electric products (such as fans) interrelate. The program also teaches how to conduct a house pressure test for either diagnostic needs or codes requirements.
The HearthCheck program was developed by NCHPBA in 2000. It is taught by NCHPBA Instructors and also offered through the HPB Education Foundation at HPBExpo education offerings (2009) or is available through their online education program. Contact the NCHPBA office at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out about affiliate offerings or Rick Vlahos at Vlahos@hpba.org for his online training programs.
HearthCheck pressure test forms may be downloaded to use with the HearthCheck program.
